AstroPay is a digital wallet that facilitates cross-border transactions.
We redesigned and optimized AstroPay's incentive program. We gave a new life to this core function and delighted users with a world-class rewards experience.
The challenge
Rewards are a vital part of what hooks AstroPay users and promotes loyalty. Our challenge was to ensure that rewards offer real, tangible value and encourage users to keep using AstroPay's services regularly.
Reimagining loyalty in fintech
To achieve this, we first obtained a clear picture of how the existing rewards system operated, how it was built, what competitors are doing, and what users value.
A new system
We used all the gathered information to reimagine the optimal value-driven reward system. This includes product integration, notifying users of new rewards, and determining the various reward offerings.
The revamped rewards system is aimed to enhance user satisfaction and loyalty, driving increased user retention and engagement, ultimately contributing to AstroPay's sustained growth and success.
However, incorporating new features required thoughtful integration, ensuring seamless expansion while staying aligned with pre-existing components.
UI
Since there wasn’t a full UI design system, a UI kit was put together to cover the basics. This kit helped keep the design consistent and on-brand, making the whole process smoother and more efficient.
