REplace is the ultimate tool for developing renewable energy project, making the identification of the optimal location for your solar or wind greenfield project effortless.

We collaborated closely with the REplace team with
a clear objective: to rebuild their MVP from the ground
up within a tight timeframe.

The Process

We went through an end to end process, beginning with redefining
user needs, conceptualizing the product, and progressing to design.

To achieve this, we employed techniques such as user stories and 'how might we' questions. With this information, we identified the product's core functionalities and determined which features could be prioritized for later development.

Discovery

We went through a discovery phase where we clearly defined the key features of the minimum viable (and lovable) product. To achieve this, we first identified the primary actions users wanted to perform. Based on these insights, we established the core requirements for the user flow. Once the flow was mapped out, we proceeded to create the wireframes.

The Challege

During a four week sprint, we helped REplace define their new MVP.

UI

Since there wasn’t a full UI design system, a UI kit was put together to cover the basics. This kit helped keep the design consistent and on-brand, making the whole process smoother and more efficient.

It all starts with a search…

We identified the search feature as the product's core element. Once a search is performed, users can access detailed information about recommended sites and download comprehensive business cases that include all relevant parameters. This enables informed decision-making, increasing ROI and reducing the development risk of renewable energy projects.

Collections: A Way to Store Favorite Sites

During our research, we discovered that saving search results is a critical part of the user journey. By storing these results, users can later compare different sites' parameters and make well-informed choices.
